What will you do in this job?

  • Maintain and contribute to a safe and healthy workplace by adhering to all safety procedures
  • Perform preventative maintenance of lift equipment and other lift maintenance related duties such as but not limited to daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and gondola servicing.
  • Under the direction of management, maintain and operate the gondola lift as per the CSA Z98-19 code.
  • Perform preventative maintenance of building facilities such as but not limited to daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of building equipment, and preventive maintenance of HVAC and sanitary equipment.
  • Complete and manage work using a computerized maintenance management system.
  • Ensures that each guest interaction is friendly and professional
  • Willingness to contribute to all areas of operations to support teammates as required
  • Duties will require the need to lift equipment over 50lbs, work at heights, use hand & power tools, and operate mechanical equipment.

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

  • Millwright journeyman status or equivalent
  • Electrical knowledge and experience, 24VDC, PLC, basic troubleshooting
  • Lift operations and lift maintenance experience
  • Building maintenance or construction experience
  • Fall Arrest certifications or ability to complete
  • Equipment operation experience, or ability to learn
  • Proven history of safe work practices
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to excel and perform professionally under stress
  • Computer knowledge and experience an asset
  • First Aid Training and Driver's license an asset
