Responsibilities:

  • Plan, procure, and supervise restoration work on wood frame and concrete buildings
  • Supervise and report on quality and quantity of construction completed
  • Perform detailed review of progress billings and review contractor invoices
  • Review and analyze contractor bids
  • Liaise with consultants on project preparation and execution
  • Investigate/analyze and propose repairs of building issues
  • Budget management and creation
  • Ensure renovation schedule is maintained
  • Ensure coordination of projects are communicated accurately and completely to field personnel and all impacted departments
  • Develop Repair and Condition Studies for a regional portfolio

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Extensive experience and education in multiple construction disciplines or a post-secondary Degree or Diploma in either Civil Engineering Technology with a specialty in Construction Engineering Technology, Architectural Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Minimum 2 years of experience (field experience and administration / planning experience)
  • Understanding of civil engineering / construction / renovation and administrative / budgeting processes
  • Knowledge of concrete hi-rise construction, wood frame multi story construction, restoration, repair and building enclosure restoration

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to learn and adapt to changing systems and new technology

Non-Technical Requirements:

  • Travel within the region will be required
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to fellow Associates
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Effective organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to work independently and with other Associates in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize (excellent time-management skills)
  • Ability to work under high stress and locked-in deadlines
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness
