The Marketing Analyst will support the Marketing team by providing cross-functional analytical support to Producer Services, Quality Arbitrage and PnL Reporting and forecasting. They will gain a solid understanding of the main marketing functions; Producer Services, Trading, and Quality Arbitrage.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Work cross functionally to maintain portfolio models, providing a daily assessment of PnL, and portfolio changes impacting Producer Services, Quality Arbitrage, and Trading activities.
  • Prepares monthly PnL calculations, tracks customer contract performance (comparing and tracking contracted monthly volumes vs. projected deliveries within the month of delivery) and assists with settlement related duties with various other commercial teams (internal and external).
  • Prepares analysis requests from our customers, forward to Shipper Services and follow up on errors/corrections.
  • Prepares and manages Producer Over/Short summaries (in-month and post delivery month), send to PS Representative for communication with Producer.
  • Tracks and provides analysis on premiums paid to producers.
  • Works cross functionally with the Quality Arbitrage, Trading, and Scheduling groups to provide analysis and support. Includes but not limited to; tracking producers qualities.
  • Consolidates information/reports and upload into SharePoint/Power BI.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in the areas of Finance, Commerce, Economics, or another analytical field of study.
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in an analytical role, with an understanding crude/commodity markets
  • Previous midstream, infrastructure or oil & gas experience would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and portfolio modeling experience
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Adaptable, innovative, highly analytical, detail oriented, self-motivated and a well-organized team player.
  • Notices trends or patterns in information or events.
  • Willing to try new approaches.
  • Draws logical conclusions. Sees the implications of events or information.
  • Can establish rapport with and respond appropriately to others to facilitate teamwork.
  • Develops a network of relevant contacts.
