We are seeking top-tier talent to join our Corporate Services team and support our construction operations by applying your expertise to various Corporate Services business initiatives. Summary

Reporting to the Operations Finance Manager, the Financial Operations Accountant supports all aspects of centralized operations accounting ensuring an accurate and timely month end close and providing technical support and solutions to the wider Operation Accounting team. The successful candidate will have a proactive and collaborative work style and a pragmatic approach to problem solving. This will be a temporary 16-18 month opportunity, supporting the Calgary Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team.

As a Financial Operations Accountant at Graham you will:

• Be responsible for preparing month end working papers and journal entries
• Support detailed reconciliation and analysis of the Project Working Capital including WIP, AR, AP and holdbacks
• Provide technical accounting and systems support (SAP/project management software)
• Test new system integrations and enhancements
• Work with our external auditors providing support related to operations accounting
• Adhere to procedures, policies, internal controls, and external financial accounting standards
• Display commitment to continuous improvement

To be successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field of study (accounting preferred)
• Completion of or working towards a recognized professional designation (CPA) is an asset
• 3-5 years relevant accounting experience, with experience in construction, engineering or manufacturing an asset
• Experience with an ERP system is an asset (SAP preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proactive and collaborative work style while able to flex and work autonomously when needed
• Ability to develop pragmatic solutions in a complex and uncertain environment
