About this opportunity:
This position is a customer service and operations role with a primary responsibility for scheduling movements of heavy crude oil, diluent and synthetic, and monitoring inventories to ensure all obligations are met with a strong customer focus. The successful candidate must work well in a fast paced, deadline driven, multi-tasking environment, solving problems by prioritizing the most critical issues and making informed decisions. This position is one of the primary contact positions with shippers, connected carriers, trunk lines, and internal pipeline field personnel.
What you'll do:
Schedule and monitor the movements of crude and diluent through the Husky Midstream Pipelines to meet all customer requirements and supply availability including the Lloydminster Refinery, Lloydminster Upgrader, Connected Carriers and Trunk lines
Liaise between Shippers, Trunk lines, Pipeline Connected Facility Operators, Husky Midstream Field Operations as required to resolve containment, Shipper and Trunk line issues
Develop strategies, contingency plans and solve problems employing an ability to react quickly and efficiently to Pipeline sensitivity due to all operational issues
Manage, monitor, and reconcile all Husky Midstream Pipelines and Shipper inventory positions to ensure all shippers are balanced and contracts are met
Participate in reporting (COLC, ITC), restriction, curtailment, or apportionment activities
Operate, manage and maintain the integrity of applications and workbooks
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Integrated Pipeline System (IPS) project
Who we are:
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum requirements:
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Post-secondary degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain or a relevant field
Minimum 5+ years of crude oil or relative industry experience
Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline systems operations, inventory management expertise, and the pipeline's rules and regulations are considered assets
We acknowledge the value of transferrable skills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.
