As a Senior Engineer will perform the role of technical lead on new product development projects for in-line inspection.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the technical scope of new product development projects, including research/technology developments, enhancements, new product and sustaining activities. Responsibilities include:
  • Flowing down product requirements and identifying system and subsystem requirements.
  • Designing, development and test activities
  • Managing design review
  • Supervising commercialization and operationalization including field support for product introduction
  • Producing technical documentation & records
  • Managing work package definition, planning and estimation in collaboration with project management
  • Overseeing delegation, co-ordination and technical oversight of work conducted by the project team
  • Using and ensuring the application of sound engineering principles and adherence to business, industry, and other regulatory standards

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or relevant STEM discipline
  • Have experience in a product development role
  • Have a track record of delivery of new product development projects
  • Have deep domain knowledge of In-line inspection technologies preferred
  • Posses advanced skills in CAD (3-D modeling and 2-D drafting) - in CREO &/or Inventor
  • Have skills in Finite Element Analysis tools in a design & build environment (preferred)
  • Have experience of leading project teams in a new product development environment
  • Display excellent communication skills, with experience presenting at management level
  • Be able to travel occasionally for business
