Our Transmission and Distribution Lines team across Canada, with offices in Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Toronto, and Calgary, is composed of specialised engineers, technicians, and support staff. Our multidisciplinary team includes professionals from junior to expert levels. Our clients primarily operate in the heavy industry and private sector in Canada and abroad providing a wide variety of interesting projects. Our team supports our clients in heavy industry as they seek to carbonise and increase renewable energy. Our team of experts assists our clients in all phases of their projects, from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.

With Us, You Will Have the Opportunity to...

  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Act as a technical project manager to ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and quality
  • Develop line routes
  • Design and produce engineering documents associated with transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV)
  • Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines
  • Lead the preparation of service offers, studies, cost estimates, reports, as well as plans and specifications, and participate in them.
  • Assist with existing lines inspections and produce the required reports

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical, or Construction Engineering
  • 7-10 years experience in a related role
  • Experience with transmission and distribution lines
  • Relevant structural experience combined with an interest in transmission and distribution lines
  • Strong technical writing skills
