Journeyman Mechanic
Associated Ambulance, Alberta's largest contracted provider of rural ambulance services proudly serving and supporting 24 communities, is looking for a professional, energetic and self-motivated Journeyman Mechanics to join our Fleet Maintenance team in a permanent full-time capacity.
Reporting to shop foreman the successful candidate will:
Perform repairs on company vehicles mostly Ambulances (primarily Ford E450 and Dodge Promaster 350).
Perform Government inspections on ambulances.
Assist with commissioning new vehicles to be put into service.
Working with the shop foreman order of part as required.
Cleaning of shop as required.
Working safely as a team player.
Work on any outside work as assigned.
Able to work independently without direct supervision.
Terms of Employment
This position will work Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with one week per month of on-call. Hourly wage $36.00 to $40.00 per hour based on experience, generous benefit and retirement savings package. This position will start on or any time after November 1, 2024.
Qualifications:
Licensed Journeyman mechanic with a good understanding of Ford gas E 450 vehicles and proficient with complex electrical wiring.
