NAIT's Digital Media and IT (DMIT) program is seeking a highly experienced, dynamic, and energetic instructor with a passion for sharing their expertise in software development. Currently, the DMIT program's Computer Software Development concentration equips students to design and implement scalable application solutions, covering development, testing, documentation, deployment, and support, as well as database design and maintenance across various applications. As DMIT transitions next fall into multiple specialized programs—one of which will be Software Development—this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the evolving curriculum and help shape the future of industry-focused education at NAIT.
The successful candidate should be student-centred, have strong organizational skills and be committed to student success, with excellent communication skills in both written and oral English. Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking and decision-making skills are required.

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Remuneration: Will commensurate with education and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
Instructor salary grid $65,218.00 - $113,452.00 annually. However, starting salary for new hires averages between $78,998.00 - $85,889.00 annually based on education and experience with room for negotiations. (Classification - Instructor).
This position is covered by the NAIT Academic Staff Association (NASA) Collective Agreement
