Flynn Industrial Ltd., a leading building envelope trade contractor in the institutional, commercial and industrial construction market place, requires an experienced Estimator for our Edmonton Branch.

A Day in the Life
- Review contract with Operations Manager and prior to his signing
- Co-ordinate the orderly flow of work to meet site schedules
- Communicate all aspects of job status i.e. extras, schedule delays etc. with client
- Negotiate extras for all applicable revisions and prepare necessary documentation (internal and external)
- Co-ordinate issuance of all contracts or purchase orders to subs
- Follow-up with on-site problems with Area Supervisors and Field Operations Manager
- Obtain percentage complete on each project for month end billing and reporting
What We are Seeking
- Min. 5+ years' experience within a Senior Project Manager Role with experience in estimating, drafting, shop & architectural drawings (panels, pre-engineering buildings, and metal roofing and cladding systems)
- Must demonstrate min. 5+ years' experience in building envelope construction and design, with primary focus being metal roofing and cladding systems
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS office package
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
