Position: Laborer

Schedule: 14 on / 14 off

Role Summary:
As a Laborer you will provide general support to site operations and be responsible for general duties as required by the supervisor.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Fill water tanks as necessary.
- Perform clean-up on site and at the working location.
- Install signs as per highway standard.
- Responsible for snow and ice removal.
- Paint if/when required.
- Store tools properly.
- Set up and operation of de-watering systems.
- Act as a flag person.
- Spot for loader and other equipment.
- Patch holes in walkways.
- Fix pads for cranes.
- Set forms for concrete pour.
- Cut grass.
- Pressure washer and steam truck operation.
- Perform housekeeping functions.
- Operate forklift, skid steer and zoom boom as required.
- Maintain a cooperative working relationship with customers and other employees.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.
Education & Experience:
- Job requirements are listed below:
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- Clean 5-year Driver Abstract obtained within 30 days of starting work is required.
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation) is required.

- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Safety conscious attitude
- Must be willing to work in fluctuating climates (hot, cold, wet) and environmental conditions.
- Must be comfortable working in close proximity to water.
- Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test and Fit for Duty test.
- Applicants are required to be clean shaven for testing and beyond.
- All applicants must have the ability to speak, read and write fluently in English.
- All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
