We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our largest sawmill, located in High Level, Alberta. Our High Level Lumber Division safely and sustainably produces forest products for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Leadership experience within the forestry sector.
  • Journeyperson, Diploma, or Technical Degree in a mechanical, electrical, or related field.
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems; preferably JD Edwards.
  • Able to lead diverse trade group and create a highly effective maintenance team.
  • A strong ability in troubleshooting and applying failure modes and effects analysis.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation.
  • Effective communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset.


In this role you will:

  • Oversee the safety of the maintenance team
