Grounds Labourer

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.19 per hour

Showcase your attention to detail and horticultural flair as a Grounds Labourer - and maintain hotel grounds that provide a beautiful backdrop to every exceptional guest stay. In this role you will support the hotel by:

• Maintain flower beds, landscape plantings both indoor & outdoor
• Mow, trim, water all turf areas of resort
• Prepare landscape areas for repair or construction
• Clean the property - litter, animal waste, recycling, hazard trees and yard debris
• Plant, fertilize and pesticide usage on a periodic basis
• Assist irrigation technician when necessary
• Operate power tools and equipment while using proper personal protective equipment

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid Alberta Driver's License required
• Previous experience in Landscape/Gardening an asset
• Machine operating experience an asset: snowplow, grader & blade, bobcat, john deere tractors 5200, 670, 855 & 3320
• CPR and First Aid Certificates an asset
• Ability to work outdoors in various elements such as rain, heat & snow required
