MPE, a division of Englobe, is seeking a Automation Professional to join our team and work in the Lethbridge office.

Description: As an automation professional, the desired applicant will share MPE’s vision to provide industry leading services to our clients throughout Southern Alberta and Western Canada.

The position is primarily focused on PLC and SCADA programming, commissioning, and networking configurations, however, a diverse background in automation and control system planning, design, control narrative generation, troubleshooting, and maintenance is also required. The successful applicant will work with our automation and controls team in our Lethbridge Office.

Your Contribution

  • Programming experience with a variety of automation software and hardware
  • Willingness to travel to support maintenance and commissioning tasks
  • Availability for PLC, SCADA Systems, and related communications emergency support
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules

Your Profile

  • Diploma or Degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensing or certification with APEGA/ASET.
  • Minimum 2 years in a related position.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Background in electrical & instrumentation systems.
  • Experience with municipal & industrial process systems.
  • Experience with industrial networking & cybersecurity.
  • Experience working as a member of a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
