• Setup and operate a multitude of different Manual and CNC equipment with supervision
• Machines to include Manual Milling Machines, Horizontal Lathes, Drill Press, Surface Grinders
• CNC Machines to include a variety of 3-5 axis Machine Centers, 5 axis Millturns, Gap bed Lathes
• Strong aptitude in Mathematics and Blue Print reading
• Ability to choose tooling and materials for each project needed
•Enter information for computer-controlled processes, Sign off sheets and Inspection Reports
•Assists with all other duties as directed by the department leader
• Minimum of one-year pre-apprenticeship program from a Community College.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic knowledge of machining systems and safety procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Completion of relevant coursework or training programs
• Previous experience in a related field or industry
• Basic understanding of machining theory and principles
• Familiarity with tools and equipment
