Your Role
As an Equipment Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining agricultural equipment.Day to Day
- Transportation and application of crop protection products
- Sprayer Operator: Responsible for loading the sprayer tank and ensuring proper cleaning
- Floater Operator: Operate the floater safely to apply products
- Handle the loading and unloading of seed, fertilizer, and chemicals
- Maintain agricultural equipment through upkeep and maintenance
- Ensure the maintenance and organization of the equipment and yard
- Deliver excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical repair and general maintenance of equipment
- Experience working on a farm and/or with agriculture equipment is an asset
- Valid Class 1 driver's license with air brake endorsement and several years driving experience
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle physical demands of the position and work in all weather conditions
- Flexible work schedule (extended hours may be required)
