The Regualtory compliance and assistant Planner/Scheduler Technician provides their control and instrument technical expertise and supports the Swan Hills Treatment Centre (SHTC) with improving regulatory compliance using process/design industry best practices. Participates in overseeing the day-to-day operations, collaborates with key stakeholders to identify and meet all the regulatory requirements as per licence, and develops strategies for proper PM. Assists planner/Scheduler for the Operations and Maintenance Departments with the planning and scheduling of all prevenative maintenance (PMs) and work orders to minimize downtime of our 24/7 operation of the Swan Hills Treatment Centre (SHTC), and strives to improve work force productivity and work quality throughout the facility by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of various task activities. The Planner/Scheduler maintains close liaison with all facility departments in order to improve overall maintenance effectiveness and operational availability.
The incumbent is instrumental in the operation achieving its preventive and predictive maintenance goals. It is required to identify, plan, quantify and schedule the correct maintenance activities required to achieve the organizational and department objectives and KPIs

The Planner/Scheduler is eligible to participate in a Compressed Work Week Schedule, thereby working four, ten-hour days each week. To achieve operational requirements and business-hour coverage at all times, incumbent may be required to occasionally change/adapt their hours.
