The Opportunity

The Business Partner, Business Transformation is responsible for driving change management initiatives, fostering team engagement, and providing program support to ensure successful implementation of business transformation projects. This role will work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and leadership to promote continuous improvement and achieve organizational goals.

Pay Grade: 15 ($41.56 - $48.12 per hour)
Location: Open to any of our BC regional offices (hybrid work environment)
Reports to: Director, Business Transformation

As a Business Partner, Business Transformation, you will:

  1. Change Management:
    • Develop and implement change management strategies to support business transformation initiatives.
    • Provide guidance and support to teams during the transition period to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with change initiatives.
    • Support process documentation, training development and training coordination
    • Define, measure, and report on change readiness to executives and other stakeholders.
  2. Team & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Continuously advance the reputation and influence of project team with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and stakeholders.
    • Facilitate workshops, focus groups, and meetings to gather insights and promote collaboration.
    • Act as a liaison between project teams and organizational leadership to ensure alignment and effective communication.
    • Work with other departments on planning and preparation for external stakeholder outreach in support of organization's project initiatives.
    • Administer, report on, and develop action plans stemming from employee project pulse check surveys.
  3. Program and Administration Support:
    • Develop and maintain documentation such as business cases, process maps, and user guides.
    • Monitor and report on the performance and impact of implemented processes and programs.
    • Maintain and refine document reporting and tracking systems.
    • Organize and track briefing and decision notes and associated documents.
    • Provide support for meetings and events.
    • Coordinate preparation and distribution of materials for executive, departmental and team meetings.
    • Contribute to preparation and delivery of presentations.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and innovation then provides project management support for business transformation initiatives, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
    • Conduct research and benchmarking to stay informed of industry trends and best practices.
    • Conduct primary and secondary project research and analysis and activities as required for project development.
    • Support the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience you have:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Change Management, or a related field; or equivalent knowledge gained through work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in change management, team engagement, and program support.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience with agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management body of knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills including the ability to gain buy-in and to manage and influence key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organization skills and meticulous attention to details.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and digital engagement platforms
