Position Summary:
Ensures the efficient flow of vehicles, inbound and outbound, and supervises the Transportation employees for the assigned region, ensuring best practices with Transportation. Focuses on consistently meeting and exceeding Regional goals. Participates in the hiring process, conducts new hire training, and ensures a positive onboarding experience. Sets expectations, monitors performance, and addresses concerns in a timely fashion, in partnership with the People & Culture team. Provides opportunities for the team to learn and grow and ensures continuous feedback for improvement. Ensures adherence to all transportation SLA’s and established protocols.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm PST. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do:
- Supervise the day-to-day responsibilities of the Transportation team in the assigned region.
- Ensure transportation SLA’s, processes, and procedures are being followed to company standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, creating strong morale and spirit throughout your location.
- Assist in the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of employees, equipping them with the necessary tools and resources for success.
- Generate and monitor regular reports to track key metrics, demonstrating a strong analytical mindset, and ability to summarize key findings to upper management.
- Support the execution of exceptional customer experiences by being hands-on and ready to jump in alongside the team.
- Address and effectively manage complex and sensitive issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
- Build relationships with carrier network and establish optimal rates and ETAs.
- Monitor department productivity, report on trends, and recommend and implement changes to increase productivity.
- Initiate corrective action with carriers on damaged transport and logistical delays.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2-4+ years in Transportation / Logistics / Supply Chain / Distribution / Product Supply.
- Experience in the auto auction/auto industry business required and/or mechanical knowledge.
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred, preferably for groups of 3+ employees.
- Bilingual (English and French) an asset.
- Excellent technical and computer skills, including G-Suite, CRM, etc.
- Professional level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented.
- Ability to integrate with teams, engender trust, and leverage relationships to garner results.
- Ability to compile and analyze data, summarize key points, and make value-add recommendations backed by said data. Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Comfortable addressing performance issues and working closely with People & Culture team on all employee matters.
- Ability to calmly and professionally address customer escalations resulting in good business outcomes.
- Self-starter, adaptable to change, with strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $57,500.00 - $62,000.00, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
