Job Description

Working within a team of inspection technicians, your work will help the company to adequately meet its clients' expectations and you will guarantee them the security of their fire systems.
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will be mainly responsible for inspection, service and functionally of sprinkler, fire alarm and special hazards systems. You will also respond to service calls from customers, and perform repairs to systems when necessary. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:

  • Service and inspection of existing fire protection equipment;
  • Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection;
  • Preparation of inspection and deficiencies reports in a timely manner;
  • Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends.

Work area: Lower Mainland

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • No experience necessary;
  • Experience in inspection of all types of fire extinguishing systems, including special fire suppression systems (kitchen, gas, pre-action, foam, etc.) and fire alarm systems (an asset);
  • ASTTBC certifications (an asset);
  • Aptitude for mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting;
  • Valid driver's licence (mandatory);
  • Ability to work well independently;
  • Strong customer service skills (essential) and ability to seek new opportunities.
