Job Description

Working within a team of technicians, your work will help the company to adequately meet its clients' expectations, and you will guarantee them the security of their fire systems.

Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, you will mainly be responsible for installing, inspecting and/or modifying commercial kitchen hood fire suppression systems. Among other things, your responsibilities will be:

  • Install, repair, and modify various pre-engineered automatic fire protection systems for commercial kitchen hoods;
  • Complete system layouts and follow manufacturer requirements;
  • Inspect different types of equipment according to established procedures;
  • Coordinate appointments with clients, if applicable;
  • Determine building compliance with current standards and implement corrective measures;
  • Install and inspect kitchen fire extinguishers;
  • Complete system commissioning and inspection reports.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the installation of automatic fire protection systems for commercial kitchen hoods;
  • Proficiency in the standards and codes governing the design and installation of industrial and commercial kitchen systems;
  • Strong customer service skills;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Availability for flexible schedules.
