We are looking to fill the full-time, year-round position of Building Maintenance Manager, serving Lizard Creek Lodge and Slopeside Lodge. The ideal candidate will have professionalism, supervisory experience and a thorough understanding of smart guest relations. You Will:

· Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff

· Assist guests at every opportunity

· Manage and oversee all building maintenance tasks, including daily duties, preventative maintenance (PM), scheduling, hiring, evaluations, and crew talks, while maximizing Strata approval and billings

· Actively perform building maintenance (demand and PM) when necessary

· Continuously improve the maintenance program to enhance its effectiveness and efficiency

· Establish and maintain communication channels for all base area building users

· Oversee the upkeep, revision, and expansion of the HIPPO CMMS program across the base area

· Ensure that all maintenance tasks (demand and PM) are carried out efficiently and in a timely manner

· Provide ongoing support to the maintenance team to ensure high morale and efficient, high-quality service

· Stay informed about the status of current building issues

· Prepare weekly reports, create month-end statements, and compile annual reports

· Maintain inventory controls to ensure cost-effective operations

· Perform daily checks, maintenance records, and monitor all building systems

· Collaborate with management to maintain building safety for both guests and staff

· Carry phone/radio as required for on-call maintenance

· Make recommendations and assist with special projects

· Alert senior management of any unusual occurrences, damages, or risks

· Follow all RCR policies, Employee Handbook guidelines, and Safety Management Program

· Complete miscellaneous tasks as requested by management

You Have:

· Previous managerial experience in a similar role is an asset

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

· Pool Tech certification is an asset

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads and/or enduring extended periods of exertion

· Previous experience in a similar role an asset
