JOB OVERVIEW
The Custodian reports to the Custodian Lead and is responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the hangars & office areas.
The Custodian will be working on a Full time schedule, 40-hours a week with an ideal schedule of Monday to Friday from 4:30pm to 12:30am, with some room for adjustments. Starting wage is at $20 per hour plus benefits.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cleaning carpets
- Cleaning offices
- Cleaning lunchrooms
- Cleaning washrooms
- Recycling materials
- Garbage disposal
REQUIREMENTS
- Able to work independently and on a team with other Custodians
- Must be a motivated self starter with strong initiative
- Able to create a work plan
- Knowledge of equipment and cleaning materials
- Mandatory Controlled Goods certification required (completed in-house; requires background check)
- Physically fit (carry equipment up and down stairs; garbage & recycle to outside of building)
- Able to work shifts
