Bimbo Canada pursues our goal of creating value by being at the forefront of manufacturing and service delivery innovation in the baking industry through the continued improvement and refinement of its supply chain network while serving major grocery chains, retail outlets and foodservice operations across Canada.

Bimbo Canada is currently hiring for a six-month contract effective immediately in regard to a leave of absence to fulfill the position of a Plant Coordinator. Please see below the key responsibilities.

KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Weekly payroll processing for over 200+ associates; Key data in Krono's, submit weekly submissions for job changes, associates' data and reports, update trackers. #LI-Onsite #LI-RM1
  • Post weekly schedule for associates.
  • Handling inquires relating to schedule.
  • Daily schedule for absenteeism.
  • Coordinate Job posting
  • Management of STATs, vacations, LOAs from all the associates in the bakery.
  • Administrative tasks as required.

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA:

  • The successful candidate will possess a relevant post-secondary education is an asset.
  • Prior payroll experience, systems such as Kronos is an asset.
  • Prior operations experience preferably working in a unionized work environment.
  • Ability to communicate and work with all stakeholders and resources in a frequently changing and challenging production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively with limited supervision in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
  • Takes initiative, exercises good judgment in day-to-day business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Must be knowledgeable and be able to follow GMPs, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements.

Salary Range: 50,000-60,000
