As a Production Worker/Technician, the primary responsibility is to contribute to the efficient and smooth operation of the production process. This role involves executing manufacturing tasks, operating machinery, and ensuring the quality and quantity of output meet established standards. The Production Worker/Technician plays a key role in assembling, testing, and inspecting products. Additionally, the position involves collaborating with the production team to achieve production goals.


What you will be responsible for:


Quality Control:

  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Review work orders to ensure work is performed according to specifications.

Production Process Execution:

  • Cutting and handling of aluminum sheets. Assisting in assembly of highway signage.
  • Applicating graphics to aluminum substrate.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance:

  • Proficient/comfortable using equipment, such as table saw, metal shear, grinder.
  • Safely control and operate equipment, such as forklifts.

What we need from you:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a Class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to operate and control equipment.
  • Ability to perform accurate and thorough quality checks on products and parts.
  • Capability to rotate through various tasks and manage work assignments.
  • Skill in identifying and resolving issues with equipment or production processes.
  • Capacity to follow and communicate work procedures accurately.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.


Where/When you will be working:

  • 40 hour work week.
  • Working outside and in the warehouse/yard.


The recruitment process for this role typically lasts 1 to 2 weeks and includes a phone interview, behavioural assessment and an in-person interview.
