• Compensation: $29.00/hr,
• Shift Premium:; $1.00/hr

The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for one (1) full-time Shunt Truck Operator to join our fast-paced team at our Port Coquitlam Branch. This role is responsible for:

• Local LTL delivery within Vancouver (160km Radius around the city)
• Service from Hope to Whistler
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Offloading to customers required
• Circle check of tractor trailer and pre/post-trip report
• Complete POD's and driver run sheets
• Deliver loads to customers in a timely manner
• Capably operate a variety of equipment- Single Axle, Tandem Axle, 5 ton trucks

What you need to be successful in the role:

• Class 1 Manual license only -- Automatic licensed drivers need not to apply
• Clean drivers abstract
• Criminal record check must be submitted if hired
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Adherent to company policies regarding health and safety, drug and alcohol
• Minimum 2 years validated experience working in a class 1 environment
