West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Our Quesnel Plywood division in Quesnel, British Columbia, is recruiting for a Quesnel Plywood - Weekend Clean-Up General Labourer.

You'll Do:

  • Required to remove wood waste and other debris from within and around equipment and dispose of it in the hog.
  • Entering into equipment and removing debris manually using tools like shovels and rakes and sometimes by hand.
  • Use compressed air or water hoses to aid in cleaning equipment where entering the equipment is not possible or adequate cleanup requires these extra measures.
  • Cleaning hydraulic tanks
  • performing fire watch activities (monitoring welding and other hot work to ensure a fire does not occur and to immediately address any incipient fires that start as the result of hot work

You have:

  • Desire to learn, grow and succeed
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and crew building skills
  • The flexibility to work all shifts or weekend clean-up.
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation Package:

  • The hourly pay rate for this position will be $34.01
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation, and holidays.
