WestPine MDF - Entry Level

Reporting directly to the Operation Coordinator, the successful candidates will be part of Production Department. The majority of the duties will be in our finishing end of the plant.

You'll Do:

  • Packaging of MDF units
  • Handling and lifting materials
  • Operate production equipment as assigned
  • Assist with the routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and promptly reporting any malfunctions or issues to the team
  • Other entry level responsibilities
  • Repetitive tasks
  • Strict adherence to company safety standards and follow safe work practices such as lock-out, pre-job hazard assessment, etc.
  • Standing for extended periods

  • Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Good physical condition
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Reliable and excellent work ethic
  • Desire to learn, grow and succeed
  • Excellent interpersonal and crew building skills
  • The flexibility to work a rotating 12-hour shift pattern
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Valid driver's license
  • Computer skills
  • Mobile equipment experience

Compensation Package:

  • The hourly pay rate for this position may vary depending on the experience, education and location.
  • Outstanding benefits package including medical, dental, pension, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, vacation and holidays.
