You as an Equipment Coordinator will:

  • Review technical documentation, validate information, mark-up drawings and describe technical issues to obtain clarification.
  • Consult and edit equipment lists in Excel format and implement in the project's database (dRofus)
  • Analyze, store, sort and distribute equipment-related documentation (data sheets, shop drawings, manuals, etc.)
  • Review compliance with project requirements and identify changes
  • Generate queries and arrange meetings
  • Support project management and general admin tasks: progress reports, supplier billing, meeting minutes
  • Actively involved in the preparation and review of tender documentation for procurement of brand new equipment and will support the Construction Team with field reviews and room readiness prior to equipment delivery and installation
  • Manage documentation on hospital equipment (shop drawings, cut sheets), be able to extract technical requirements and validate such requirements against architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings

Is this the right role for you?

  • Educational background in Architectural Technology, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Base technical knowledge, comfortable working with layouts, shop drawings and technical data sheets - Architecture /Electrical / Mechanical
  • Effective communication skills, methodical, detail-oriented, critical thinking
  • Experience working in the field (ie. as a Field Coordinator or Assistant Superintendent) is preferred
  • Comfortable working with information database systems and equipment lists
  • Competent in managing information in MS Excel
