B&B Contracting Group is accepting applications for Heavy Equipment Operators to join our growing company. B&B is a union-affiliated employer that puts a strong emphasis on safety and offers highly competitive compensation and benefits. Heavy Equipment Operators earn a wage of $38-$41 per hour depending on skillset and experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform a daily pre-inspection of equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (e.g. greasing)
  • Exercise good judgment in load handling, placement of equipment and material
  • Able to interpret and use hand signals to communicate with others
  • Promote a safe work environment and adhere to safety policies and work procedures


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


  • Possess a minimum of 2 years’ prior experience working in underground utility construction, civil construction, or landscaping
  • Ability to read underground utility locates
  • Possess strong work ethic and positive team attitude
