Our Surrey BC Distribution Centre, is currently seeking a Warehouse Administrator to join our team. The essential function of this position is to manage all shipping processes. This individual will do shipping entries, inventory adjustments and monitor the NAV inventory.

Shift: Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 3:45pm (5 to 6 days per week)

Wage: $19.70 per hour

Primary Responsibilities:
• Perform inventory control matching physical inventory to NAV inventory.
• Organize all tallies and shipping documents for the warehouse staff and drivers.
• Ensure proper paperwork is given to drivers.
• Processing sales orders for all donations and give-away.
• Validate outbound load sheets to physical inventory.
• Requesting inventory verification from shippers.
• Monitor all food safety documents to ensure they are completed properly by shippers.
• Ensuring that temperature recorders are documented and applied to required loads.
• Monitor tally sheets to ensure correct items are sent to customers.
• Filing and retaining paper copies in an organized fashion.
• Completing grower breakdown reports that are provided to the FDA.
• Communicating with drivers regarding load statuses.
• Communicating with ready times and late departure times.
• Communicating temperatures and checklists to customers.
• Communicating stock shortages to customers.

Education/Background Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Post- Secondary education preferred.
• Shipping, receiving and inventory experience preferred.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Be respectful and deal tactfully with customers, other employees and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office: Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal timemanagement skills and effectively manage associated stress.
• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
• Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:
• Work in a climate-controlled office, within a refrigerated warehouse.
• Use of company computer to input information.
