Our Surrey BC Distribution Centre, is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. The essential function of this position is to oversee direct reports in all areas of Warehouse Operations. Objectives are corporately set and include but are not limited to cost improvements, service improvements, system design and implementation and attain all
company safety objectives.

Shift: Monday to Saturday 7:30am to 4:00pm

Salary: $55,000

Primary Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day supervision of staff and overseeing work.
• Plan, assign, follow up and report on departmental objectives.
• Oversee day to day communication and liaise with other departments including Commodity Management,
IT, Planning, Sales, external vendors, customers.
• Ensures changes are made with schedules.
• Makes sure all skids are stacked properly.
• Ensures product is shipped correctly.
• Ensures shipping fills orders in a timely fashion.
• Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork.
• Trains staff and monitors their performance and progress.
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met.
• Delivering and fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's headquarters.
• Carrying out responsibilities for the use of computerized systems.
• Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day.
• Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness and security of the work environment.
• Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
• Must maintain confidentiality of all proprietary information, as well as other Company data, including
personnel information.

Education/Background Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous related work experience required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
• Highly proficient in computer use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally,
present information and direction, and field questions from managers, employees and external contacts.

Working Conditions:
• Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Position requires sitting, standing, walking and bending on a regular basis.
• Must have manual dexterity to perform computer skills.
