We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced PVC Membrane Installers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in construction and installation, particularly in the installation of PVC membrane roofing systems for commercial and industrial projects. As a PVC Membrane Installer at New City Contracting, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and waterproofing of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Install PVC membrane roofing systems according to project specifications, manufacturer guidelines, and industry best practices
• Prepare roof surfaces for membrane installation, including cleaning, priming, and substrate repair
• Measure and cut membrane sheets accurately to fit roof dimensions and contours
• Weld or adhere membrane sheets to roof surfaces using heat or adhesives, ensuring proper sealing and waterproofing
• Install flashing, edge details, and accessories to complete membrane roofing installations
• Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to coordinate membrane installation activities and meet project deadlines
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and installation equipment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a PVC Membrane Installer or similar construction and roofing work
• Knowledge of PVC membrane roofing products, installation techniques, and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations and procedures
