Main Purpose and Function
The Recreation Programmer II performs supervisory and recreation programming work by assisting a Recreation Supervisor or Coordinator in the development, coordination and implementation of a community recreation program, at West Point Grey Community Centre. The position assumes responsibility for directing segments of an approved community recreation program, provides guidance and recommendations to community program committees, recruits and instructs part-time staff, schedules, evaluates and reports on programs, performs moderately complex administrative duties and acts for a superior on an assigned shift.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
The current schedule is Sunday to Thursday with one evening shift, but this schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.
