Main Purpose and Function
The Senior Program Manager, Technology Services for Technology Planning and Delivery is responsible for managing strategic technology programs and projects to provide enterprise-wide services in support of the City of Vancouver's Corporate Plan and Annual Technology Plan (ATP) as it relates to the build-out of the technology roadmap for the City of Vancouver.
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for supporting the Technology Leadership Team (TLT), in executing and delivering a range of strategic initiatives in the domain of Technology and business enablement through the implementation of digital platforms and solutions.
The Senior Program Manager is also responsible for designing and implementing new operational models emerging from the successful delivery of strategic programs to support a growing digital organization.
The role contributes to departmental planning activities, making recommendations for changes in methods, processes and procedures that may impact financial and operational areas as well as staffing workloads, working conditions, changes in positions or staffing levels.

Where operationally appropriate and subject to change, the City of Vancouver has a Flexible Work Program. This program allows staff to work remotely 1 - 4 days a week from locations that are a daily commutable distance from their work at a City worksite. At this time this position is eligible to be part of the Flexible Work Program.
