Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience of designing, coding, debugging and delivering large projects
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with designing and building reliable, distributed services.
- Demonstrated problem solving and prioritization skills.
- Proven track record of growing consumer or enterprise products using product led growth techniques.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $108,100 - CAD $199,700 per year.

Responsibilities
- You will deliver highly secure, reliable, and performant platform and application components, end-to-end.
- You will work with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and Designers, to get the right features defined and then design, code, test, release, monitor, and maintain.
- You will optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
- You will use customer feedback to drive improvement and innovation in our products and ensure that customers are succeeding with our software and services.
- You will provide technical leadership for some of the projects and create design documents for a product, application, service, or platform.
- You will articulate well and keep all stakeholders informed to ensure that the product scales to customer requirements.
- You will foster a culture of inclusivity and disciplined software engineering practices to deliver business value, guided by data.
