Our Electronics and Computer Engineering Department currently delivers seven programs at levels from access through to diploma. In addition, we also deliver service courses to other departments and the Engineering Bridge Program. We invite expressions of interest from qualified candidates who want to join a team of educators committed to excellence, collaboration and learner-centered education.
In addition to a solid background in electronics, both in hardware and software development, the ideal candidate would have experience in networking, IT security, server administration and Cloud-based systems, and would be eligible to obtain certifications from Cisco and CompTIA in order to teach in our Cybersecurity program. The candidate must also have the ability to present technical information to both Technician and Technology-level students, and must be a team player. Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related fields, or a Diploma of Technology in Electronics/Electrical, or an IT-related discipline,
Minimum of two years of recent work experience which relate to the programs delivered
Minimum of one year experience in a teaching, leadership, coaching and/or mentoring role
Provincial Instructor's Diploma considered an asset
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
