We're looking for a Certified Saw Filer to join our redesigned, modern lumber mill located near Williams Lake, British Columbia. Our Lakeview Division safely and sustainably produces over 230 million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

  • Certified Saw filer with interprovincial red seal and previous circular saw experience.
  • Commitment to working safely.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and with a team.
  • Open to working rotating shifts.

In this role you will:

  • Work collaboratively across your team and with other departments.
  • Carry out maintenance on round and band saws.
  • Assist with troubleshooting.
  • Look for and propose new ideas to streamline processes and fine-tune equipment.
  • Work with safety in mind to keep yourself, our operators, and other employees safe.
