PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
Working in a 24 x 7 environment, the Coordinator Border Operations (BOC) oversees tactical border reporting activities to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency for the movement of CPKC's cross-border trains and shipments. The BOC directly interacts with US and Canadian Border agencies and internal CPKC partners to provide seamless cross-border service. In addition to other activities, the BOC provides leadership and guidance to internal staff responsible for rail and shipment reporting activities and captures and reports daily border metrics. Management Conductor Program:
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer.
