The Manager on Duty will ensure seamless continuity of top-level management during times when the General Manager is not present. Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager, the ideal candidate will display concise communication skills and abilities, along with a general knowledge of hotel procedures and practices, including MLCC regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Cooperate with management personnel as required or requested and represent the General Manager.
  • Monitor the operations of all hotel departments in conjunction with or in the absence of supervisory personnel within each department.
  • Handle all emergencies, guest and employee accidents, security incidents, coordinate with appropriate departments and notify management.
  • Prepare reports as required.
  • Check hotel premises for security of property and safety of persons.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
  • 1 years of experience in a similar work environment would be an asset.
  • The ability to acquire "Smart Choices" certification will be required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must have the ability to work days, evenings, and weekends as required.
