OVERVIEW:

This is a floater position. Individual would need to possess a customer first attitude, be self-motivated, have good organizational skills and a willingness to learn. Driving is required and the candidate would be expected to service multiple sites to ensure peak times, vacation and illnesses are covered. Sites are located in the Winnipeg, MB area.
This position is in a fast moving, deadline driven environment. Responsible for colour, black & white reprographics, finishing operations, data entry as well as DocuCare. Must be able to work in both team and single person environment and able to assist all customers in a manner that meets or exceeds our expectations.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establish and maintain high levels of Customer Satisfaction
  • Supply/ Consumable Management - Track, place orders, receive, stock & arranged for disposal once used
  • Data Entry - Recording daily meter requests & entering print requests into billing program
  • Production of requested jobs on colour, black & white and large format equipment - Determine output requirements, machine set-up, print, quality assurance & delivery
  • Operation of assorted finishing equipment - ie. paper cutter, drill, folding. lamination, etc
  • DocuCare = Copier/equipment maintenance, clearing paper jams & monitoring/ restocking supplies


EXPERIENCES, ABILITIES & SKILLSETS:

  • Experience with the following equipment & software would be an asset - B&W and colour printer, Freeflow, Paper cutter, Paper drill, Autopunch / Autocoiler
  • Able to operate large centralized digital equipment
  • Able to detect production inconsistencies and quality issues
  • Experience in finishing environment, operating finishing /binding equipment
  • Math skills (multiplication, division, percentages)
  • Operation of PC applications in networked environment
  • Able to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Able to be on feet for extended period of time
  • Able to read, write and follow instructions
  • Listen, understand, and communicate effectively
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Able to work with others in a team atmosphere or in a single person site with minimal supervision
