Your Role

As Talent Management Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end talent management lifecycle with accountability for strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning & development and retention. This role will provide strategic leadership and partner with divisional leadership teams to ensure the organization fosters rewarding careers and maintains a progressive work environment.

Day to Day

  • Lead the talent acquisition and learning and development specialists to ensure high performance, collaboration, innovation and a positive team working culture.
  • Develop and implement talent management strategies, initiatives, and programs that support the recruitment, development, and retention of high-performing employees.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive talent management framework including onboarding, performance management, employee development, succession planning, and career pathways.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Drive the development and execution of employee training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Lead the talent acquisition process, including identifying hiring needs, developing job descriptions and developing an employer branding strategy to attract and select top talent.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent management and make recommendations for continuous improvement to drive organizational performance.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align talent management strategies with business objectives and drive organizational change and transformation.
  • Utilize technology in combination with data and analytics to drive enhancements in efficiency and effectiveness throughout talent acquisition & development processes while providing insights on performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certification in Human Resources and/or education and training in leadership and management.
  • 10+ years of experience in Talent Management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing talent management strategies, including experience working with senior leaders and executives to drive these efforts and manage change initiatives within an organization.
  • Strong skills and experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership abilities to inspire, motivate and guide teams to achieve results.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems and talent management software.
