We are currently recruiting for a Construction Electrician to join our team in New Brunswick. If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you.

As a Construction Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting with tank and piping installation and removal projects (above or underground) throughout Atlantic Canada. In addition, you would be expected to provide leading-edge customer service and have a willingness to learn new skills.

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete project activities as directed by the Construction Leads and Project Managers
  • Install, test, and commission petroleum equipment and EV charging stations as per regulatory requirements and manufacturer's instructions and procedures
  • Assist in the construction and installation of EV charging sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
  • Work with sub-contractors to complete project tasks for additional disciplines as required (electrical, excavation, concrete, civil)
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed
  • Enhance company reputation through workmanship, quality and control
  • Carry out manual tasks as required while working outdoors in all conditions
  • Understanding of various EV charging standards and protocols, such as Level 1, Level 2, and DC Fast Charging (Level 3) would be considered an asset
  • Travel will be required throughout Atlantic Canada as our construction division covers various provinces
  • Overtime may also be required to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Red Seal, Journeyman, or Apprentice as Construction Electrician
  • Licensed Petroleum Installer (any province) will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years Construction experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-focused, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to take direction well, work independently and safely
  • Competent in using tools and operating equipment
  • Ability to handle very physically demanding work; working long shifts and extra hours
  • Must be hard-working, reliable, responsible, energetic, and dependable
  • Be able to safely lift a minimum of 60 Lbs.
