We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Workshop Coordinator to join our team. In this multi-functional role, you will work closely with both facility and workshop teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our office area and equipment bays. The Workshop Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing work processes, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining equipment schedules, while also supporting various administrative and maintenance tasks.

What you will be doing

  • Prioritize safety in all job plans and activities.

  • Manage work schedules, Work in Progress (WIP), and timely job completion.

  • Coordinate with vendors for services like welding, fabrication, and inspections.

  • Source and order parts; maintain inventory and shipping/receiving records.

  • Ensure compliance with inspection schedules for Sandvik equipment.

  • Communicate work plans to technicians and oversee job prioritization.

  • Assist with facility maintenance, office supplies, and administrative duties.

  • Participate in toolbox talks, shift start meetings, and workplace inspections.

  • Provide updates to key stakeholders and manage critical situations.

  • Support facility and equipment inspections, Capex requests, and work order feedback.

  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

What you will bring along

  • Proven experience in workshop or operations coordination.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various teams and vendors.

  • Computer literacy. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to work independently and seek advice when faced with situations outside your knowledge or authority.

  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in an industrial or workshop environment.

Preferred

  • Experience in inventory management and equipment scheduling.

  • Previous experience working in an industrial or technical environment.

  • Previous experience working with Maximo, Aurora, SAP.
