As a Fixed Term Driver Helper you will help our drivers complete deliveries of our products to residential and commercial customers or our Heating service technicians with installation and maintenance work. Your goal will be to help our drivers and technicians by aiding with manual labour, delivery related tasks and assisting in communication with customers. Your success will be dependent on your ability to assist with labour, delivery and customer communication related tasks.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Working with the driver or technician in delivering product to residential and commercial customers or completing installation or maintenance work, by aiding with manual labour tasks
  • Assist with pre and post trip inspections
  • Prepare the truck for equipment and maintenance and/or prepare the fuel hose for dispensing of product
  • Deliver paperwork to customers
  • Assist with daily shift report and all required paperwork
  • Other duties as required

Your Skills:

  • Ability to work outside in all seasons
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs
  • Ability to work all shifts with flexibility in changes in work schedule
  • Ability to multi-task operational duties

Your Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a delivery related role an asset
  • High school or G.E.D. required
