As a Fixed Term Transportation Billing Analyst, you will handle all issues as they relate to freight billing and processing. To do so, you will investigate, analyze, and identify root causes, resolve issues, and process freight for our internal and external customer accounts. Your goal will be to provide quick and effective resolution of customer concerns and issues as it relates to payments, pricing, taxes, products, etc. Your success will depend on your coordination with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure all business objectives are met. This is a 12 month fixed term contract position.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of relevant pricing policies and procedures.
  • Process weekly and monthly freight billing for internal and external customers in a timely manner
  • Perform weekly & monthly audits of billing file to ensure accuracy and all charges recovered
  • Identify any areas through the freight billing process where revenue is being lost or not recovered to determine root cause, and make changes to ensure fees are captured
  • Complete reconciliation process to ensure all orders have been captured in the billing process
  • Take ownership of customer experience to ensure excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and ensure resolution occurs in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other internal departments to resolve issues
  • Perform root cause analysis to identify issues.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams including Dispatch, Customer Support, Billing/Credit, etc.

Your Skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Strong computer literacy with comfortability within the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self motivated and a team player
  • Adaptable and flexible to dynamic business needs

Your Experience:

  • High School diploma required, Post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred, with a focus in business or data analytics
  • Experience working with Power BI and TMW software is preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role
