As a Fleet Analyst your role is to work collaboratively with the Fleet Maintenance team to capture, maintain and analyze data in relation to the Irving Energy Fleet. Your goal will be to provide top-notch analytics to the Fleet Maintenance team to support the objectives of the department. You will achieve this goal by providing accurate and detailed reports and data insights. Your success will depend on your commitment to data accuracy, ability to provide insights from the data you are analyzing and your ability to support the Fleet Maintenance team using all available data and reporting structures.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze fleet data to improve performance and efficiency
  • Prepare and present reports on fleet operations and expenses
  • Work as part of the fleet maintenance team to ensure vehicle health and safety
  • Assist fleet manager to develop strategies for fleet replacement and/or growth
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations and fleet policies
  • Perform cost analysis and suggest cost-saving strategies
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to optimize fleet usage

Your Skills:

  • Strategic data reporting and analysis
  • Data accuracy auditing
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities
  • Ability to produce, maintain and disseminate data reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication

Your Experience:

  • High School diploma required.
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma preferred, with a focus in business or data analytics.
  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics-related role.
  • Transportation industry experience is preferred
