PROJECT COORDINATOR (BAND LEVEL 7)
Department of Facilities Management
(Contractual Position to March 31, 2027)
We are seeking a highly qualified Technologist in the role of a Project Coordinator to perform technical drafting and construction administration work under the division of Facilities Engineering and Development of the Department of Facilities Management.
DUTIES
Reporting to the Manager, Minor Capital Projects, the Project Coordinator will execute projects involving initiating, designing, and planning of project activities. Duties include:
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience (3-5 years) in a design/detailing environment, including comprehensive Autodesk Revit experience (minimum 2 years) in detailing complete sets of contract documents on complex and/or renovation projects; successful completion of an accredited 3-year Engineering Technology program with specific building construction and contract administration experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. The ideal candidate will have strong technical ability in drawings and detailing architectural building systems; comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the NBCC 2020; a high degree of professionalism; and excellent communication skills. Experience with other software platforms is considered an asset, including: Microsoft Office (including MS Project), Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Autodesk AutoCAD. Candidates must be eligible for professional registration with AETTNL as a professional technologist.
SALARY $32.92 - $38.61 per hour (NAPE Local 7801)
