About the role

The candidate will administer and develop solutions for a series of Engineering applications located in the LM Canada Integrated Product Data Environment (IPDE) such as PTC Windchill, DOORS, Gitlab, Oracle DB primarily on Linux platforms.

Desired development experience is Full Stack, Data Engineering, DevOps, Gitlab, CI/CD, Docker, particularly in Python and Java and must be well experienced in writing ETL scripts in Python, Java, SQL (Oracle preferred) or other languages and will maintain internally developed scripts in same. Windchill QueryBuilder, Workflows, and Lifecycles experience is an asset. The role will require the candidate to maintain system documentation and perform system lifecycle support activities as required.

SharePoint, Office 365+, Teams familiarity is an asset.

The successful candidate will work in a Lockheed Martin Canada facility (Dartmouth, Montreal, Kanata, or Vancouver/Esquimalt) in a team setting, but must be able to work independently.

The candidate must have or succeed in obtaining NATO SECRET clearance for this work along with Canadian Controlled Goods

The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years IM/IT knowledge with any College Diploma in this field.

Travel is not expected with this position.

  • Application Programming Interface (API) usage
  • Application development, including requirements elicitation and derivation
  • Custom application interfaces
  • Knowledge of System/Software Engineering
  • Knowledge of change request management processes
  • Knowledge of IT ticket management process
  • A College Diploma or Certificate in the IM/IT discipline
  • 10 years IM/IT experience
