This position will be based out of our Halifax location, reporting to the Director of National Accounts.
A Day in the Life:
Generate leads for new business through various methods of communications.
Identify potential new clients and develop relationship with key decision makers.
Frequent communication with new and existing customers to ensure full quality and satisfaction.
Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client.
Ability to conduct presentations or demonstrations remotely.
Attend association, industry, and networking events.
Work closely with local Service departments as well as the national business development management and team to ensure they are informed on business activities and issues.
Extensive travel within Atlantic Canada to meet with branches and/or clients.
Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels.
Here’s what you bring to the table:
Related previous sales experience required.
Knowledge of the construction industry preferred.
Post-secondary education considered an asset.
Ability to establish and build strong relationships.
Well-developed sales/presentation skills in power point.
Excellent communication skills and ability to be self-directed.
Excellent organizational/time management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Able to work in a fast paced and sales driven environment.
Willingness to learn entire scope of business including product knowledge, building envelope design, service, and budgeting to offer full-service packages to current and potential clients.
